Z-Market OÜ, a Latvian-Estonian general retail company, has been a valued client sinse 2020. Our collaboration has evolved from an initial encounter to a robust partnership, spanning multiple iterations of their online store.

The currently deployed and maintained website can be broadly categorised into two main groups of features: user-facing pages and the admin panel.

Powered by a CloudLinux environment, the backend runs on PHP 8.2 and MySQL, hosted on an Apache server. This backend architecture forms the foundation of a moderate-scale Laravel application, adhering to standard OOP / MVC principles. It encompasses essential features such as models, views, controllers, ORM / CRUD functionality, REST APIs, websockets, etc. To bolster security, the application is fortified with user-specific privileges and CSRF protection, ensuring a safe browsing and purchasing experience for clients, and streamlined content management for administrators.

The user-facing interface comprises several key components:

Administrators have the capability to seamlessly create, update, or remove products and categories, with the flexibility to assign categories to new or existing products.

Additionally, products can be seamlessly translated into multiple languages, catering to our website's diverse audience. Each product can be complemented with one or multiple images for enhanced visual representation.
